How we help you import

Tally is a platform — not a customs broker.

We coordinate the entire process and connect you with the right specialists. Padrón registration, broker matching, NOM labeling, and freight coordination — managed end-to-end.

We advise

Product viability assessment, tariff classification guidance, and a detailed cost estimate before you commit to shipping. You see total landed cost before you book the container.

We connect

We match you with vetted, licensed customs brokers (agentes aduanales) and freight forwarders from our partner network — based on product category, port of entry, and volume.

We coordinate

End-to-end management: Padrón registration, document review, NOM labeling, freight to FBA. Communication between you and your customs broker stays in one place.

Boundary: Tally does not directly perform import operations, customs clearance, or freight logistics. These services are provided by licensed third-party customs brokers and logistics companies in our partner network. Tally acts as coordinator and advisor, facilitating the connection between you and qualified service providers. You contract directly with each provider.

What we coordinate

Everything you need to navigate Mexican customs.

Eight deliverables, all managed through the Tally platform.

Tariff classification advisory

Guidance on your 10-digit tariff code (fracción arancelaria) to determine duty rates and regulatory requirements. Final classification is performed by the licensed customs broker.

Landed cost estimation

A detailed estimate of all expected costs before you ship: duties, taxes, broker fees, transport, and handling. Full visibility before you commit.

Padrón de Importadores

Registration in SAT’s Padrón de Importadores — the mandatory registry that authorizes your entity to import. Padrón Sectorial also coordinated for protected industries (textiles, footwear, chemicals).

NOM labeling coordination

Spanish-language oversticker labels: NOM-050 (commercial info), NOM-141 (cosmetics), NOM-051 (food and beverage warnings). Coordinated with specialized labeling partners.

Customs broker matching

Connection to licensed customs brokers (agentes aduanales) from our vetted partner network. Matched by product category, port of entry, and volume. You contract directly with the broker.

Document review & guidance

We review commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and technical data sheets before submission to help avoid delays at customs.

Encargo Conferido

Preparation of the Encargo Conferido — the formal authorization for a customs broker to act on your entity’s behalf for import operations.

FBA logistics

Coordination with logistics providers for land transportation from customs facilities to Amazon FBA fulfillment centers in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, or Toluca.
