Pricing FAQ

What the retainer covers, and what it doesn't.

The questions we hear most before signing. If yours isn't here, book a call.

Which plan is right for my company?

Starter ($588/mo) fits foreign companies setting up a Mexican entity for services, holding, or non-marketplace operations — SaaS, professional services, small B2B operations.

Import/Export Plus ($700/mo) is the flagship for brands selling on Amazon Mexico or Mercado Libre, or importing physical product. Most Tally clients land here.

Full Compliance ($1,200/mo) is for mid-market and enterprise with multi-entity structures, regulated categories (supplements, cosmetics, medical devices), or Mexican payroll.

If you're not sure, book a discovery call and we'll map your structure to the right plan in 15 minutes.

How does the annual discount work?

Annual billing saves 10%. Starter goes from $588/mo to $529/mo ($6,350/year). Import/Export Plus goes from $700/mo to $625/mo ($7,500/year). Full Compliance goes from $1,200/mo to $1,080/mo ($12,960/year). Billed upfront in USD via Stripe.

What does the setup fee cover, and how much is it?

The one-time setup fee covers: Mexican entity drafting (bylaws, shareholder pack, KYC), notary protocolization coordination, Registro Público de Comercio inscription, RFC and company e.firma accompaniment with SAT, RNIE registration (foreign investment registry), and fiscal domicile setup.

The exact figure depends on your entity type (S de RL de CV, SA de CV, or SAPI), shareholder structure, and target state. We quote it on the discovery call once we understand your setup. No surprises after the quote.

Is the monthly retainer locked in?

No. Month-to-month after setup. You can cancel with 30 days' written notice. You can also upgrade or downgrade plans at any time — upgrades take effect immediately and you pay the difference; downgrades start the next billing cycle.

Do I actually own the Mexican entity?

Yes. 100%. The shareholder registry is in your name (or your US/parent company's name). The RFC, the company e.firma, the corporate bank account, and the marketplace seller accounts are yours. If you switch providers later, everything goes with you. Tally Global does not operate any aggregator or Merchant of Record structure.

What about COFEPRIS, IMPI, and regulated categories?

COFEPRIS preparation is included in Import/Export Plus when your product category requires it (supplements, cosmetics, OTC, food touching).

COFEPRIS representation (acting as your Responsable Sanitario for regulated categories) is included in Full Compliance.

IMPI trademark registration is included in Full Compliance (1 class). Additional classes or standalone IMPI filings cost $450 per class.

Can I add immigration, trademarks, or fulfillment later?

Yes. Add-ons are priced per case, billed separately from the monthly retainer:

  • Immigration (Constancia Empleador, Mexican visa): $500–$600 per case
  • Trademark (IMPI): $450 per class
  • Holding transfer (parent-subsidiary shares): $750 per transaction
  • Fulfillment (warehouse, 3PL, FBA prep): quote on request
Do you bill in USD or MXN? What about my international invoicing?

Tally Global bills in USD only. Foreign companies operate with USD reference, and we want to avoid FX noise on your retainer.

Your Mexican entity bills its own customers in MXN (or USD, depending on contract), invoicing through the official CFDI system that we set up for you. The retainer to Tally and your entity's invoicing to customers are independent flows.

If you're a Mexican founder incorporating in Mexico, go to tallylegal.io for MXN-billed plans.

Are setup fees refundable if I cancel?

Setup fees are non-refundable once drafting has started, because third-party costs (notary, registry, government filings) are incurred immediately and are not reimbursable to us. If you cancel before drafting begins, we refund the setup minus any work already completed (typically less than 10%).

How does the discovery call work for Full Compliance and custom scopes?

Book a 15-minute call. We map your parent structure, target product category or services, employee plans, and Mexico investment timeline.

You leave the call with a written scope, a fixed setup quote, and the monthly retainer figure. No high-pressure sales, no contract on the call. You decide afterward.

Open your Mexico entity. First sale in 8–12 weeks.

Start your application. We respond within one business day.
